GRADUATE LEVEL PROGRAMME

   


B.Sc. Nursing

The college offers an undergraduate program leading to a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (B.Sc. Nursing) degree. The B.Sc. Nursing degree prepares the graduate for entrance into graduate study in nursing at the master's degree level, which is essential for teaching, administration, clinical specialization and nursing research.
Completion of the Bachelor of Science in Nursing (B.Sc.) degree prepares beginning professional nurses who possess the theoretical foundation and the clinical competence to function in various healthcare settings. The graduate is prepared to deliver nursing care services to individuals, families, population groups, and communities.
The Bachelor of Science in Nursing prepares students to think critically, make decisions and function effectively in their interpersonal and team surroundings. The general education courses in biology, social science, and humanities provide a strong foundation for the nursing theory and clinical/experiential courses. Nursing graduates are prepared to understand and respond to the vast and changing healthcare needs of individuals and communities in society.

Eligibility
Age Limit
The Candidates should have completed 17 years of age on or before 31st  Dec for that session. The candidates who have not completed 17 years are not eligible to appear in this course. No request for relaxation of the age limit will be entertained.
Qualification
The qualifying examination for selection is 12th standard examination under 10+2 system (Physics, Chemistry and Biology) of Rajasthan Board or an equivalent examination of any recognized Board/University.


Eligibility of Marks
A pass out in 10+2 system, with 45% marks in PCBE. All selections in the first instance would be provisional, to be confirmed subsequently. Ever after confirmation a selection cancelled, if provide beyond reasonable doubt that the selection was secured through fraudulent means or the candidate was not eligible.
* SC/ST candidate will get 5% Relaxation of marks.

Fees

As per govt. norms decided by state governments as well as committee formed by Government of Rajasthan.
Medical Check up:- If any of the students is medically unfit then his/her admission will be rejected.

Seats

The annual intake seats of Jaipur Hospital College of Nursing is 30 seats per annum. Out of which 50% seats will be filled by Govt. through Rajasthan University of Health Sciences and rest of the 50% seats will be filled through Private Physiotherapy, Nursing & Paramedical Institutions Society of Jaipur.
